With our LTD111 print series we invite artists who we admire to create a new original piece inspired by a cinematic moment of their choice, released in a limited edition of 111 prints. First edition is the Amsterdam-based illustrator and painter Floor van het Nederend, who has selected Stanley Kubrick’s seminal classic Full Metal Jacket as the inspiration for a stunning (silkscreen) work.

About the artist:
Dutch illustrator Floor van het Nederend (Haarlem, 1987) has always been fascinated and inspired by the comics of cartoonists like Charles Burns, Robert Crumb and Moebius and movies by directors like Stanley Kubrick. His style is a mix of underground comics and punk flyers. Raw, dark and mostly made with black ink. Themes are intense but never too serious.
