The album featuring four songs performed live on set by actress Carla Juri, known for her roles in Blade Runner 2049 and Wetlands. Juri plays Liz in Torch Song, an eccentric pop singer who visits her estranged half-brother, igniting creativity and turmoil.
Houben: “I thought it was important that the songs in the film wouldn’t become some kind of musical interlude, but would actually fulfill a narrative function. Each song is part of the story and brings you closer to the character of Liz.”
